My question is, can this do essentially what my present sound card does in protools? In other words, when I connect this stuff, is protools going to see the 24 channels that
Particularly, I am looking at the PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2AI Digital Mixer. I am thinking of removing the the sound card totally from my system and replacing it with a digital mixer that does firewire and use that as my (kind of) audio interface to my computer. I currently use PT11 with SME multiface under PCIe card.
I want to toss something out to some of you and get some opinions if this is doable, and is it a good idea?
